Recovering form the holidays

We are still her and trying to settle back into a normal routine again. Holidays with little ones are so fun, but also cause tantrums, lack of sleep, and overstimulated children.

Jamie was spoiled with toys, and Rebecca got some cute cloths and fun toys also. Over all it was GREAT.

Well I thought I was done sewing for the year, but after seeing this tutorial I pulled out the sewing machine and started in after Christmas. (I really need to get a craft room put together).

I am LOVING making them, and they are so useful!. I made one with flame fabric for James sister's youngest birthday gift (his birthday is the 5th of Jan). He got 2 Hot Wheels tracks for Christmas and has cars galore. I hope it helps him and his mom keep them all together.

I think the best part is you can make them the size you need. The one above is only 5 inches around, but the one I made for the Hot Wheels cars is 7 inches. The 7 inch size is perfect for so many things! I could even see these used as make-up bags.

Hope you have a happy and safe New Year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and hugs form loved ones.

Merry Christmas From the James, Jennica, Jamie, and Rebecca.

Rebecca's a big girl now! She gets some breast milk in a sippy cup.
She would rather eat the paper, lol.

Let IT Snow!

What good is snow if mom won't let you play in it?

We can't leave Rebecca out. She staid warm inside with Grandpa Jack.

Getting in the Christmas spirit

I have to admit that I have not really felt in the "Christmas spirit" of things this year. I am not sure what it is but I just kind of feel out of it.

I love Christmas music and gathering with family and friends. I love giving little sentimental things, and backing goodies. But none of that has made me feel Christmas-y.

Anyway, Christmas music always makes me happy even if I am struggling to feel the Christmas spirit.

Hope you are getting all the last little things done and will enjoy a nice Christmas with family or friends.

If you are like me and are having a hard time feeling the Christmas spirit too or maybe you would just like to have some Christmas music to listen to. Here are some of my favorite artiest and songs this time of year. :)

Conrad Christmas

With so many family members in Colorado we have to split Christmas up so that we can see everyone and the kids don't get so overwhelmed either.

SO before Christmas we get together with the Conrad side of the family that live here and visit, open gifts, and have some yummy food.

Jamie and Rebecca are for sure spoiled, and we will be claring out the old toys this week to make room for the new.

Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying the day.

Rebecca decided to nap during present time.
Jamie was very clean about his unwrapping. He made sure to put all the trash in the trash can.

 ELMO!

Jamie is having so much fun with his new toys.

Oh and here is a picture for Great Grandma Baboo of the kids in there new pj's :) Jamie loves his and it is Rebecca's first pair of big girl pj's. They fit great with some room still to grow!

6 Months Old

Rebecca is 6 months old today!

Half a year already! WOW time sure is flying. And the best part is WE ARE STILL NURSING! I can not tell you how happy I am to have made it this far. With Jamie I only got to nurse him till 4 months. My supply was dropping and I just did not have the knowledge to fix it. Now thanks to the good let down ladies I have learned so much about nursing that no mater what speed bump comes I have the resources to over come it.

Well back to the star of today. Rebecca is so active. She roles over both ways, scoots backward and side to side, sits up with little support, sings (its supper cute), laughs, still no teeth, and weighs 18 lbs 12.5 oz! Over all just a perfect little girl. So blesses with my baby girl

Made with LOVE!

I finished my Christmas ornaments. If you are confused I talked about it in a previous post here.
and the verdict is....

THE OWLS!!!

They turned out quite cute if I do say so myself! This is the one I decided to keep for our tree.

By the time the kids are teens I should have a full tree of home made ornaments! :)

**Note to family and friends**
If you would like a print PLEASE don't try and print them from here. I have watermarked them so you wont get a good print. You will have to tell me the one(s) you like and I can email them to you or get them printed and mailed to you.

Enjoy!

P.S. I noticed after we took all the pictures that James only wiped Jamie's face (not washed it) after lunch, so he has a messy face :/
